Samos Island
Situated in the warmth of the Eastern Mediterranean, surrounded by a deep-blue sea, Samos is a Greek island of lush vegetation and vineyards that have been world famous since the times of the Ancient Greek traders.
Samos is blessed with the right conditions that give its renowned wines their distinctive character. Warm sun, a tough mineral soil, and rainfall at the right times of the year are all part of the island’s terroir. Here, the conditions are ideal for the Muscat grapes to grow, rich in taste, plentiful in aromas. Of the limited, hand-picked yield each year, only the best is selected by the Metaxa Master himself.
