Greece, March 2009 METAXA sponsors the "Toques D'Or" in Greece

METAXA was the supporter of the new category, ‘'Greek Cuisine" awards.

The 31st of March, the refreshing METAXA & Tonic was the official welcome drink for the evening, while the new METAXA 5* bottle, the flagship of the METAXA family, was for the first time presented in public.

Important personalities including, artists, entrepreneurs and politicians, chefs and sommeliers, were among the guests of the exclusive event. METAXA's Brand Ambassador, Nikos Aliagas, flew over from Paris, to present the "Personality of The Year" prize, for the best chef in the Greek Cuisine category.

The evening concluded with a special dinner de gala from the famous German chef Heinz Winkler, who has been awarded with three Michelin stars.
