Berlin, August 2009 METAXA and the IBA

The IBA, founded in 1951, is made up of 52 national associations (one per country) which represents 47 000 bartenders all over the world.

Each year, the IBA board meets with all Presidents of the Member Countries to discuss matters and mutual interest. At the same time, the World Cocktail Competition (WCC) is organised with 2 categories: cocktail creation and flair.

This year, the IBA annual meeting will take place in Berlin at the Maritim Hotel from August 6^th to August 12^th.

An hospitality suite will be dedicated to Remy Cointreau brands (Remy Martin, Cointreau, Mount Gay Rum, Piper Heidsieck, Passoa and METAXA). In this convivial atmosphere, bartenders will be invited to drink the following METAXA cocktails Anguri Sour, Suntonic and Greek 7&7.
