INGREDIENTS

  • 50ml Metaxa
  • 20ml Fresh Lime Juice
  • 10ml Triple Sec
  • 10ml Gomme Syrup
  • 3 drops of Orange Bitters
  • 1 bar spoon of Orange Marmalade

PREPARATION

Chill a coupe glass. Stir 1 large bar spoon of homemade citrus marmalade with 20ml fresh citrus juice in a shaker until the marmalade has dissolved.

Add cubed ice and pour 50ml of Metaxa, 10ml of Apricot Brandy, 10ml of Gomme Syrup and 3 drops of Orange Bitters. Shake vigorously for about 12 seconds. Double strain the mixture from the shaker into a chilled coupe glass.

Cut one large orange peel and zest over the drink before rimming the edge of the glass and twisting to serve.
